A New Standard for Single Cell Analysis of FFPE Tissue
Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue is the most abundant and clinically valuable sample type in biomedical research. Yet it has been effectively off-limits for high-quality single cell analysis due to the degradation and fragmentation that occurs when RNA is fixed in formalin.
In this webinar, we'll walk through the technical breakthroughs that now make whole-transcriptome single cell profiling of FFPE tissue not just possible, but scalable. We will show you what that looks like in practice using a breast cancer FFPE dataset generated with the Parse Biosciences Evercode WT FFPE kit. You'll see cell type resolution, tumor and immune population distinctions, and preserved biological signal from archival tissue, proof that the biology is there, waiting to be found.
We'll also cover the practical side: what a realistic FFPE single-nucleus workflow looks like, what to expect from your samples, and how this fits into your existing pipelines.
If you have FFPE samples in storage and have been waiting for the technology to catch up, this webinar is for you!
